Thiago Vieira

Thiago Vieira is an investor at COREangels Atlantic and COREangels Porto, as well as a lawyer, entrepreneur, and cybersecurity expert. He began his career as a software developer before specializing in digital law, cybercrime, and intellectual property, earning a PhD in Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence from Universidade Lusófona in Porto. Thiago has served as a cyber forensics expert for the Porto Court of Appeal and is the founder and CEO of the Cybertech Acceleration Program by Incubou, Portugal’s first dedicated accelerator for cybersecurity startups. As a professor at ISLA Polytechnic Institute and an active mentor, he helps entrepreneurs navigate regulatory challenges while scaling innovative solutions. Through COREangels, Thiago invests in early-stage ventures at the intersection of technology, law, and cybersecurity, supporting founders who combine growth potential with ethical innovation and resilience.
