Rui Falcão

Rui Falcão is the CEO of COREangels. He is the former fund leader of COREangels Lisbon, COREangels Porto, and COREangels Food, where he built strong communities of investors and supported dozens of early-stage startups across sectors. Recognized as Angel of the Year 2023 by Investors Portugal, Rui has invested in more than 40 startups across Europe and Latin America and co-founded REDangels, awarded Best Angel Investment Vehicle in Portugal. A former software engineer turned visionary investor, Rui combines academic research — with a PhD focused on the perceived value of angel investing — and practical leadership to shape COREangels’ global strategy.
