Rui Falcão is the CEO and Co-Founder of COREangels and a globally recognized thought leader in angel investing. With a background in software engineering and decades of experience as a serial entrepreneur, Rui has invested in over 40 startups and co-founded REDangels—awarded Best Angel Investment Vehicle in Portugal. His academic work includes a PhD on Angel Perceived Investment Value, positioning him as a unique bridge between academic research and practical investing.

A tireless community builder, Rui is an advisor and board member in multiple angel networks, including Investors Portugal and the Entrepreneur Students Association. His mission is to empower better angels and build more inclusive and purpose-driven startup ecosystems worldwide.
